Fri, 7 July 2006 Hey folks, I hope every had a great holiday over the Fourth of July. I know I had a great time seeing "Superman Returns" and having one Helluva BBQ meal. I also managed to get some sun and rays before the thunderstorms and clouds came in. So, now I am back to work, and a little annoyed I lost my bid on that Marantz PMD 660. So, I'm just gonna get it brand new from BSW Audio. In the meantime, I got some more freelance work to do also, then I'll be done paying off this laptop. BTW, I am still using this PC laptop and Audacity to record my podcasts. So, recently there has been some friction between me and Captain Cox. After I posted my show for July 4th, he left me some comments which you can find here. So, you can see myself and ZillaFag had words with Captain Cox who does the Cox Cast podcast. I responded to Cox by sending a pretty lengthy message to him which he posted to his site here, and you can see his immediate response. Then later he posted a much longer response to my long message, and that can be found here. Lastly, I left him one rather long message, and I think that'll be the end of it. Captain Cox is a gay, conservative, republican fom Dallas, Texas. I am a Massachusetts liberal-democrat ... so we are as opposite as opposites can be. I doubt we have very much in common ... apart that were both gay. I had some news items to cover, but I think those can wait until my next podcast which should be this weekend in a couple of days.
